Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease by a neurologist.
  • Your Parkinson's is at a mild to moderate stage (Hoehn and Yahr stage 1.5–3) meaning you can still walk without help.
  • You take levodopa (a common Parkinson's medicine) and your dose has been the same for at least 4 weeks.
  • You can walk by yourself.
  • You do not have any metal or electronic implants in your head, and you are not claustrophobic (afraid of small spaces).
  • You have not had deep brain stimulation surgery before.
