Eyeglass-lens formula test for very short or long eyes

This trial checks how well different formulas predict the eyeglass prescription needed after cataract surgery in people with very short (below 22 mm) or very long (above 26 mm) eyes. If you already had cataract surgery with a standard non-toric lens, joining a one-time visit may help improve lens-power calculations.

Who can take part

  • You had cataract surgery with a specific brand of non-toric lens (HOYA Vivinex or Johnson & Johnson Tecnis).
  • Your eye length is either very short (below 22 mm) or very long (above 26 mm).
  • Your surgery was between January 2022 and December 2025.
  • It has been at least 3 months since your cataract surgery.
  • You have not had any additional eye surgery since your cataract surgery (except standard YAG laser for a cloudy capsule).
