Wearable device study for hormone therapy hot flashes

This study tests whether a wearable cooling or heating device can help reduce hot flashes caused by hormone therapy for prostate cancer. You will use the device for 12 weeks and report how often and how much your hot flashes bother you.

Who can take part

  • You are a man with prostate cancer
  • You have been on hormone therapy (ADT) for at least 4 weeks and will stay on it for the entire 12-week study
  • You are bothered by hot flashes - at least 28 per week for the past month
  • You are 18 or older and generally able to care for yourself (ECOG 0-2)
