Lung rehab for TB and post-TB lung disease

This study is for people with active tuberculosis (TB) who just started treatment, or those who have had TB before and still have lung problems (called post-TB lung disease). It will test if a special lung rehab program with exercise and breathing therapy helps improve your lungs and quality of life.

Who can take part

  • You are between 5 and 65 years old.
  • You either have active TB that you started treating less than 2 weeks ago, or you had TB before and now have lung problems (like cough, shortness of breath, or lung damage on imaging).
  • You can and want to take part in a pulmonary rehab program with exercise, breathing therapy, and education.
  • You are not pregnant (as the study involves chest X-rays).
  • You can give consent (or have a parent or guardian do it if you are a minor).
