  • You are between 18 and 50 years old.
  • Your C-section is planned ahead (elective), not an emergency.
  • You are having spinal anesthesia for the surgery.
  • You do not regularly take strong painkillers like opioids.
  • You are not allergic to the medicines bupivacaine or dexamethasone.
