Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 65 years old (for the hepatitis B part) or 18 to 55 years old (for the healthy volunteer part).
  • You have been diagnosed with chronic hepatitis B for at least 6 months (confirmed by positive HBsAg or HBV DNA tests, or a liver biopsy).
  • You are currently taking a stable antiviral hepatitis B medication (like tenofovir or entecavir) and will continue it during the study.
  • Your liver function tests (ALT) are not more than twice the normal upper limit.
  • You are willing to use effective birth control from screening until 6 months after your last study dose and not plan to donate sperm or eggs.
