  • You are female and between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have cervical cancer that has spread locally (stage IIB to IVA), but not to distant organs.
  • You are able to carry out daily activities without major help (performance status 0 or 1).
  • You are about to start treatment with chemotherapy and radiation together.
  • You have not had chemotherapy, radiation, or immune therapy for cancer before.
  • You are not currently taking vitamin D supplements.
