Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You are scheduled to receive a conditioning (preparative) treatment for a stem cell transplant.
- You are expected to live at least 3 more months and are generally able to carry out daily activities.
- You have not had chemotherapy that causes severe nausea within the past 2 weeks, or radiation within the past week.
- You have not taken anti-nausea medication (including steroids) within the past 2 days, and you have not had nausea or vomiting in the past day.
- You do not have an active infection, a bowel blockage, or brain symptoms that could make nausea worse.
