Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with high-grade muscle-invasive bladder cancer (cancer that has grown into the bladder muscle).
  • You are eligible to receive chemotherapy before surgery, which means you are generally in good health with normal kidney function.
  • You do not have severe claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces) or a history of allergic reaction to CT contrast dye.
  • Your diabetes, if you have it, is well controlled with medication.
