- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You are scheduled for laparoscopic gallbladder removal (keyhole surgery).
- You are generally healthy or have only mild medical conditions (ASA I or II).
- You do not have bleeding problems, infections, or allergies that would prevent a numbing injection.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and your BMI is 35 or less.
- You do not have chronic pain, do not take opioid pain medications regularly, and have no liver, kidney, heart, or mental health conditions.
