- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are being cared for in the emergency department at Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital.
- Your doctor has ordered a blood test that needs at least two serum separator (yellow-cap) tubes.
- You do not have a known blood disorder that causes red blood cells to break down easily (such as hemolytic anemia, sickle cell disease, or G6PD deficiency).
- Your blood sample is not visibly hemolyzed (broken down) at the time it is drawn.
