Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of epidermolysis bullosa simplex (EBS).
  • You have active blisters or sores covering at least 3% of your body surface area, with fresh blisters on about half of that area.
  • You are not currently using other topical creams or medicated dressings on the treatment areas during the study.
  • You have not used an investigational drug, systemic steroids, or antibiotics in the last month (or 14 days for topical steroids).
  • You are not pregnant or nursing, and if you could become pregnant, you agree to use a reliable birth control method.
  • You are in generally good health and do not have other skin conditions or infections that might interfere.
