Who can take part

  • Ages 13 to 17 with a legal guardian's consent
  • Diagnosis of ADHD confirmed by a doctor
  • On a stable ADHD medication (like Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, or Concerta) for at least 8 weeks
  • Score at least 18 on a standard ADHD rating scale (the SNAP-IV)
  • Able to speak and complete study assessments in English
  • Must not have certain other psychiatric or medical conditions (examples: bipolar disorder, autism, gut diseases, kidney or liver problems)
  • No antibiotics or probiotics in the last 3 months
  • Not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy
