Who can take part

  • You have a type of lung cancer called squamous non-small cell lung cancer that has spread locally or to other parts of the body and cannot be cured with surgery or radiation.
  • You have not had any prior systemic treatment for your advanced or metastatic lung cancer.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on imaging scans.
  • You are able to perform daily activities with minimal help (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
  • Your blood, kidney, liver, and blood clotting function are within normal limits.
  • If you are able to become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test before starting.
