Platelet-rich fibrin for hypospadias repair

Who can take part

  • Your child has hypospadias where the opening is at the end or middle of the penis, not near the scrotum.
  • This is the first time your child is having surgery to fix it.
  • No severe downward curve of the penis that would require a different, staged procedure.
  • No other health issues like diabetes, immune problems, or poor nutrition that could slow healing.
  • No bleeding or clotting disorders.
  • Your child is generally healthy and able to undergo surgery.
