  • You have not had your cervix removed (no hysterectomy).
  • You have not had cervical surgery in the past 5 months.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You have not had vaginal bleeding in the last 48 hours.
  • You have not had sex or used tampons, creams, or vaginal products in the last 48 hours.
