- You are 18 to 84 years old.
- Your tattoo is a single dark color (black, dark grey, dark blue, dark green, dark red, or puce).
- Your tattoo is not larger than a small paperback (A5, about 6 x 8 inches).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have no history of keloids (raised, thick scars).
- You have no active skin infection or skin condition at the tattoo site.
- You are not taking medications that make your skin sensitive to light.
