Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have advanced kidney cancer (clear cell type) that has spread or can't be removed, and you've already tried at least one standard treatment.
- You have a tumor that can be biopsied (sampled) and hasn't been treated with radiation or other local therapy in the last 28 days.
- You have at least one measurable tumor (by standard imaging criteria).
- You are able to do daily activities with little to no help (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your major organs are working well, and you have recovered from side effects of previous treatments (except minor ones like hair loss).
