Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have a diagnosis of functional dyspepsia (specifically, the post-prandial distress syndrome type), which means you feel full or pain after meals.
- You have had a negative upper endoscopy or upper GI series test to rule out other stomach problems.
- You are comfortable with having an MRI (brain scan) and drinking a meal replacement shake during the scan. You cannot have a pineapple allergy.
- You are able to read and speak English fluently and provide informed consent.
