This study looks at how deep endometriosis that affects the urinary tract (ureters and kidneys) impacts kidney function over time. It compares patients who had surgery for this condition at least two years ago with patients who are about to have surgery, to understand long-term kidney health.

Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have a condition called hydronephrosis (kidney swelling) caused by narrowing of the ureter (the tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder) due to deep endometriosis.
- For the group that already had surgery: you must have had surgery for ureteral endometriosis at the study center at least 24 months ago.
- For the group that will have surgery: you must be scheduled for surgery because of hydronephrosis or significant narrowing of the ureter.
- You must be able to undergo a kidney scan (dynamic renal scintigraphy) – this means you cannot be allergic to the radioactive tracer used and must be healthy enough for the scan.
- You must sign a consent form agreeing to participate.
