- Child has a confirmed Down syndrome diagnosis
- Child is between 3 and 5 years old
- Child can stand independently
- Child has an IQ of 65-80 (Stanford-Binet)

- Child has no persistent heart disease, severe cognitive impairment, recent lower-limb surgery, obesity (BMI>95), or hip subluxation
