Sensory integration for gross motor and balance in children with Down syndrome

Who can take part

  • Child has a confirmed Down syndrome diagnosis
  • Child is between 3 and 5 years old
  • Child can stand independently
  • Child has an IQ of 65-80 (Stanford-Binet)
  • Child has sensory integration difficulties (low registration or seeking)
  • Child has no persistent heart disease, severe cognitive impairment, recent lower-limb surgery, obesity (BMI>95), or hip subluxation
