HPV Vaccine Study for Chinese Women with or without Prior Cervarix

This study tests a new HPV vaccine (V503, known as Gardasil 9) in Chinese women who either previously received the bivalent HPV vaccine (Cervarix) more than a year ago or never had any HPV vaccine. The goal is to see if this vaccine can effectively prevent HPV-related diseases.

Who can take part

  • You must be female
  • You must be between 20 and 45 years old (as per typical study age range, but not explicitly stated here)
  • You must have either received the bivalent HPV vaccine (Cervarix) more than a year ago, or have never received any HPV vaccine
  • You must not have a history of abnormal Pap tests (such as LSIL, HSIL, ASC-US, ASC-H) or cervical biopsy showing CIN, AIS, or cervical cancer
  • You must not have a history of genital warts, vulvar, vaginal, or anal precancerous changes or cancers
  • You must not have a history of a positive HPV test
  • You must not have a weakened immune system or be on immunosuppressive therapy (with some exceptions for inhaled, nasal, or topical steroids)
  • You must not have received immune globulin or blood products (with some exceptions) or participated in other HPV vaccine trials
