Ultrasound for detecting baker's cysts in suspected deep vein thrombosis

Baker's Cyst

Part of Cancer, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study tests whether a focused ultrasound of the back of the knee can accurately detect Baker's cysts (a benign fluid-filled sac) in people who have symptoms that might suggest a blood clot. It aims to improve diagnosis and avoid unnecessary treatments.

Testing a D-dimer blood test for blood clots

NCT04917328Recruiting
Ultrasound test for less-likely deep vein blood clots

This study looks at whether a certain ultrasound method can safely check for deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot in the leg) when the clot seems less likely. It may help doctors decide faster and avoid unnecessary testing in some people.

Blood flow check for leg vein blockages with gentle pressure

This study uses a device that gently presses on your calf to check blood flow in leg veins, along with an ultrasound you already had. It may help doctors better understand vein blockages.
