Who can take part

  • You must have a diagnosis of COPD.
  • You must have completed a maximal exercise test (CPET) that includes measurement of your first ventilatory threshold.
  • You must not have any unstable or significant health conditions (such as heart, lung, muscle, or nervous system problems) that would make it unsafe to participate in a pulmonary rehabilitation program.
  • You must not have participated in a pulmonary rehabilitation program in the last 12 months.
