Ultrasound and biological features of atypical endometriosis

Endometriosis

Part of Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This study looks at how endometriosis (a condition where tissue similar to the womb lining grows outside the womb) appears on ultrasound and how it relates to certain biological markers. If you are already scheduled for endometriosis surgery, the study will use ultrasound images to learn more about your condition and possibly improve future diagnoses.

Ultrasound during surgery for deep endometriosis

This study tests whether using ultrasound during surgery helps doctors better find and remove deep endometriosis in the bowel. It may lead to more precise surgery and better outcomes.

NCT07282990Not yet recruiting
Tracking endometriosis with ultrasound over two years

This study tracks how endometriosis changes over two years using regular ultrasounds. It also looks at how the disease affects your quality of life, helping doctors understand what influences progression.

NCT06821438Not yet recruiting
Comparing ultrasound and MRI for detecting deep endometriosis

This trial compares two imaging methods—transvaginal ultrasound (TVUS) and MRI—to see which one is better at finding deep infiltrating endometriosis before surgery. If you have endometriosis and are planning laparoscopic surgery, this study may help guide your treatment by improving how doctors see the disease.

NCT05245695Recruiting
Endometriosis test using deep computer learning during surgery

This trial studies whether a computer (deep neural network) can better identify endometriosis in people with long-lasting pelvic pain using information from surgery. It may help doctors sort who has endometriosis more accurately when surgery is already planned.

NCT05339451Recruiting
Blood and tissue tests to improve endometriosis diagnosis

This study collects blood and small tissue samples during planned gynecological surgery to better diagnose endometriosis and predict its course. It may help future patients by making diagnoses and outlook more accurate.

NCT07652593Not yet recruiting
How cells interact in deep endometriosis

This study looks at how certain cells in the womb lining (called decidual cells) interact with immune cells (natural killer cells) in women with deep endometriosis, compared to women without the condition. It aims to understand the disease better, which could lead to improved treatments in the future.
