Nerve block near the belly for gallbladder surgery
Treatments studied
Part of Pain clinical trials.
This study tests a numbing injection (called a subcostal TAP block) given near the belly to see if it affects brain activity during gallbladder surgery. It may help improve pain control and anesthesia care.

This trial tests a nerve block injection in the abdominal wall to reduce pain after gallbladder removal surgery. It may help patients recover more comfortably.
This study is testing whether giving a numbing block (under the ribs and around the belly button) at a certain time before gallbladder removal surgery helps reduce pain after the operation. It aims to find the best timing for these pain blocks to improve your recovery.
This study compares two ways to numb the belly area after laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. It aims to find which method gives better pain relief after the operation.
This study tests a special nerve block called M-TAPA to see if it helps control pain during and after gallbladder removal surgery. It might offer better pain relief with fewer side effects.
This study compares how well a numbing injection (nerve block) works when given before versus after gallbladder removal surgery. The goal is to see which timing provides better pain relief after the operation.
This study tests a nerve block called the external oblique intercostal block to reduce pain after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. If you are having this surgery, the block may help you need less pain medication and feel more comfortable after the procedure.
