This study compares two types of weight-loss surgery: one done with the help of a robot and the other done by hand (laparoscopic). Both are types of sleeve gastrectomy, where the stomach is reduced in size. If you qualify for sleeve gastrectomy, this trial may help doctors learn which method works better.
