This study tests whether a new medication called RAP-219 can help adults with focal seizures (seizures that start in one area of the brain) control their seizures better. You would take this medication alongside your current seizure drugs for about 12 weeks.

This study tests the long-term safety and effectiveness of RAP-219, an investigative medication for focal epilepsy. It is for people who already completed an earlier study of RAP-219, have a type of epilepsy that doesn't respond to standard medicines, and use a surgically implanted brain device (RNS system) to help manage seizures.
