This study compares two treatments for heavy bleeding caused by adenomyosis: a procedure that uses heat to remove the inner lining of the uterus (endometrial ablation) and a procedure that blocks blood flow to the uterus (uterine artery embolization). If you have been diagnosed with adenomyosis and have tried medication without success, this trial may help decide which treatment is best for you.
