Lidocaine for pain relief with penicillin shot for syphilis
This study tests if adding a numbing medicine (lidocaine) to a penicillin shot reduces the pain of the injection for people being treated for syphilis. If you are starting your first of three weekly penicillin shots, you may be able to join.
