- NCT06458036RecruitingPhase 2
Selpercatinib before radioactive iodine for RET-positive thyroid cancer
This study tests whether a targeted drug called selpercatinib, taken before radioactive iodine therapy, can help treat thyroid cancer in children and young adults who have a specific genetic change (RET fusion or mutation). The drug may make the cancer more sensitive to the radioactive iodine treatment that follows.
San Francisco, CaliforniaAges 2–25 - NCT05668962RecruitingPhase 2
Study selpercatinib plus I-131 for RET thyroid cancer that cannot take iodine
This trial tests whether combining a targeted pill (selpercatinib) with a radioactive iodine dose (I-131) can shrink thyroid cancer that has spread and no longer responds to radioactive iodine. It is for RET fusion–positive (genetically driven) thyroid cancers where the cancer cannot reliably absorb iodine anymore.
Washington D.C., District of ColumbiaAges 12 years+ - NCT06195228RecruitingPhase 4
Real-world study of genetic types in advanced thyroid cancer
This study looks at how different genetic types of advanced thyroid cancer respond to treatment in real-world settings. It may help doctors choose the best therapy for you based on your tumor’s genetic makeup.
Fuzhou, FujianAges Any age - NCT06532149Recruiting
Sexual health and erectile function in men with lung cancer
This study looks at how lung cancer and its treatments affect men's sexual health, including erectile function and hormone levels. If you are a man with advanced lung cancer and are sexually active, researchers want to learn about your experiences and test results.
RomeAges 18–75 - NCT02925234RecruitingPhase 2
Basket trial of reused cancer drugs matched to tumor markers
This trial tests cancer drugs that are already approved for other cancers, chosen based on specific changes found in your tumor. It may help people whose cancer is growing despite standard treatment (or who no longer have standard options).

Common questions
- Are there clinical trials studying Selpercatinib?
- Yes. Clin2 currently lists 5 recruiting studies that include Selpercatinib, drawn from the U.S. registry and rewritten for real people so you can see what each is testing and who it's for.
- How do I know if I qualify for a Selpercatinib trial?
- Each study lists its own eligibility criteria — rules about condition, age, and prior treatments. On every Clin2 trial page we explain these in plain language and offer a short, optional pre-screen for a fit read. The study team makes the final decision.
- Is Selpercatinib an approved treatment?
- A drug being studied in a trial may be investigational (still being tested) or already approved and being studied for a new use. Each study page explains what phase it's in. Clin2 does not provide medical advice — talk with your doctor about whether Selpercatinib or a specific trial is right for you.
