Selumetinib versus chemo for low-grade brain tumor in children
This trial studies whether the targeted drug selumetinib works better than standard chemotherapy (carboplatin and vincristine) for children and young adults with a specific type of low-grade glioma (grade 1 or 2). It may help shrink tumors and slow growth while comparing side effects between the two treatment approaches.
