Part of Cancer, Digestive system, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This study collects blood, urine, and tissue samples from people with lung, esophageal, or other chest cancers to look at cell changes. It does not test a new treatment—instead, it aims to better understand these cancers through research.

NCT02146170Recruiting
Blood and tissue collection study for several lung and chest cancers

This study collects tissue (and follows patients over time) to better understand the natural course of several types of chest cancers. It may help researchers learn which tests and treatments work best in different cancer types.

NCT01950572Recruiting
Biopsy study to learn about mesothelioma and related cancers

This study collects tissue samples (biopsies) and health information to better understand malignant mesothelioma and certain related solid tumors that may produce a protein called mesothelin. It may help future research and treatments, and you can only join if your diagnosis is confirmed and it’s safe for you to have the tissue taken.

NCT07550049Not yet recruiting
Gene Testing Study for Lung and Head & Neck Cancer

This study analyzes genetic information from blood samples in patients with advanced lung cancer, head and neck cancer, or mesothelioma who are starting chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Understanding your cancer's genetics may help doctors personalize treatment and improve outcomes.

NCT03551951Recruiting
Testing cancer cells and DNA in blood, urine, and bone marrow

This study looks for cancer-related cells and DNA in samples like blood, urine, and (for some) bone marrow. The goal is to see whether these tests can help detect or track solid cancers with minimal added procedures.

NCT02838836Recruiting
Checking for cancer DNA and tumor cells in bodily samples

This study looks for cancer-related material in blood, urine, and sometimes bone marrow. It may help researchers understand how to detect cancer activity and track it over time using less invasive tests.
