Part of Brain & nervous system, Mental health clinical trials.

This study uses a structured check-up to learn about how someone’s thinking, behavior, and development may differ from typical patterns. It involves an interview and possibly medical, nervous-system, and blood or urine tests to understand what kinds of issues might be present.

Study of childhood behavioral and psychiatric disorders

This study looks at brain, behavior, and genetic factors in people with neuropsychiatric or developmental disorders, as well as their biological relatives. It may help researchers better understand these conditions and find new ways to diagnose or treat them.

NCT04639830Recruiting
Testing how sleep patterns relate to child brain development

This study looks at how a child’s sleep looks on a sleep-monitoring test and how that relates to brain/learning growth over time. It includes some children without known risks and some children with known developmental or learning risks, to better understand sleep’s role.

Testing brain signaling in infants at early risk

This study looks at how the brain “mirrors” or responds to actions, with the goal of finding early signs of neurodevelopmental disorders. It includes healthy adults and infants, and infants who may be at risk, to compare brain patterns early on.
