Who can take part
- You are assigned female and are still having periods (not menopausal).
- You are within the listed age range for the group you fit (about 18–44 for breast cancer, or about 21–45 for BRCA-related groups).
- You have early-stage breast cancer (stage 0–III) or you have a known BRCA mutation (for the high-risk groups).
- You plan to start certain chemotherapy types, like CMF, anthracycline-based, or taxane-based (with tamoxifen allowed if hormone therapy is planned).
- Your menstrual cycles are regular, with only limited exceptions (and pregnancy is excluded).
- You have not had prior breast cancer treatment, ovarian surgery, or pelvic radiation, and you are not planning certain fertility-risk surgeries right after chemo.
