  • You have a definite diagnosis of axial spondyloarthritis (an inflammatory spine/joint condition).
  • Or you have a definite diagnosis of juvenile spondyloarthritis.
  • Or you have a definite diagnosis of Crohn’s disease (bowel inflammation).
  • Or you have a definite diagnosis of acute anterior uveitis (a sudden painful eye inflammation).
  • Or you have a definite diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis with spine involvement.

Validating new criteria for diagnosing axial spondyloarthritis

This study aims to confirm new classification criteria for axial spondyloarthritis, a type of inflammatory arthritis affecting the spine and sacroiliac joints. Participants with chronic back pain lasting at least 3 months and starting before age 45 will undergo a series of tests to see if these new criteria better identify the condition.
