Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 60 years old
- You have an amputation of at least one limb (including a hand that is your dominant one), and the amputation happened more than 6 months ago but less than 15 years ago
- You tried a prosthesis (artificial limb) but it did not work well enough for you
- You must be willing to take anti-rejection medicines for life
- You must be willing to do intensive rehab for at least 2 years and attend many follow-up visits
- You must agree to get standard vaccines before transplant, like flu and hepatitis B
