Who can take part

  • Your spinal cord problem happened suddenly as one event (from trauma or sudden lack of blood flow)
  • You have a spinal cord injury affecting both arms and legs (tetraplegia) or both legs (paraplegia)
  • You can have the first study assessment within 6 weeks of the injury
  • You are able and willing to sign written consent (or otherwise participate as required by the study)
  • The injury is not from a long-developing or non-injury cause (like tumor, infection, inflammation, or a birth/development issue)
