Who can take part

  • You must be able to give informed consent (or have consent arranged through the study process).
  • You need a sample from a procedure like surgery, endoscopy, biopsy, or a blood test (including liquid biopsy) that can be stored for future research.
  • You may join Part A if you already have stored samples from a past procedure that haven’t been used for this specific research consent yet.
  • To continue to Part C, you must be cared for at MSK or an affiliated site, or have previously seen an MSK doctor, and you must successfully consent to Part A.
  • If you have no personal cancer history, you may only qualify if you have higher cancer risk due to family history, genetic carrier status, known gene markers, or certain exposures/lifestyle factors.
