Who can take part
- Be age 18 to 45 (inclusive), and be willing to join for about 6 months
- Be in generally good health based on screening exams and blood/urine tests
- If you could become pregnant, use reliable birth control during the study (or be surgically sterile, or not able to become pregnant for specific reasons)
- If you are female, do not be pregnant and not currently breastfeeding
- Have no major illnesses affecting organs (brain/heart/lungs/liver/kidneys) and no known immune problems
- Have no past hookworm infection and have not lived in a place where hookworms are common for more than 6 months
