Who can take part

  • Be a healthy volunteer of different ages and skin colors, or be a patient with suspected melanoma
  • Also consider joining if your doctor suspects basal cell cancer or squamous cell cancer
  • If you have diabetes, you may be eligible as well
  • You must not have an active infectious disease
  • Your skin must not be infected with an open sore (ulceration)
