  • You have suspected or confirmed sigmoid colon cancer
  • Your doctors think treatment could be curative (aimed at cure)
  • There is no metastatic cancer that cannot be fully removed, and it has not spread in an uncontrollable way
  • Your care team can review your MRI before surgery
  • You have not already made a final decision about radical (major curative) treatment
  • You can safely have an MRI and agree in writing to join the study (age 16+)
