  • You have primary hip osteoarthritis (wear-and-tear arthritis in the hip)
  • You are between 40 and 65 years old
  • Your bone is strong enough for a total hip replacement (hip arthroplasty)
  • You can only join with one hip (not both at the same time)
  • You understand Danish well enough to take part and you can give written consent
