- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled for a first-time hip replacement through the front of your hip (direct anterior approach)
- You have not had hip surgery on either hip before
- Your doctor expects the socket implant to be 50mm or larger (so the special dual-mobility cup can be used)
- You are able to read and answer questions in French, and you have French health insurance
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or under legal guardianship
