Who can take part

  • You are male and age 18 to 45
  • Your spinal cord injury happened at least 1 year ago
  • Your injury is non-progressive and located between the neck and upper/mid back (C2 to T8)
  • Your spinal cord injury is “motor complete” (ASIA A or B), meaning limited movement below the injury
  • You need clean intermittent catheterization (you catheterize several times a day)
  • You can come for testing twice a week for 6 months and you can stand/step with assistance using your legs
