  • You have a hamstring tear near where it attaches at the hip (partial or complete).
  • Your tear was treated with surgery (surgical repair).
  • Your diagnosis was confirmed with MRI (scan), not just symptoms.
  • Your MRI and your clinician’s exam fit a “proximal hamstring rupture.”
