Who can take part

  • You have knee pain most or all days for over 3 months, with pain at least 4 out of 10
  • You have primary osteoarthritis in one or both knees (not from another cause)
  • Your knee X-ray shows osteoarthritis with a Kellgren-Lawrence score of 2 or higher
  • Your pain has not improved with usual treatments like anti-inflammatories, pain medicines, physical therapy, or injections
  • You have not had a knee radiofrequency ablation for similar pain before
  • You have not had a steroid or hyaluronic acid injection in the past 3 months and you can attend study visits reliably
