Who can take part

  • You are older than 50 years.
  • You have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis by a doctor and confirmed with an X-ray.
  • Your knee pain is long-term and has not improved with other treatments like physical therapy, pain pills, or injections.
  • Your knee pain is not from an infection, tumor, fracture, or recent injury.
  • You have not had knee surgery, and you haven't had knee injections in the last 3 months.
  • You are not taking blood-thinning medications.
