Who can take part
- You’re 18 or older and have non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is stage IV or locally advanced.
- Your tumor has a gene change (like EGFR, ALK, ROS1, or BRAF) that is known to respond to targeted therapy.
- You have not had chemotherapy or other whole-body (systemic) cancer treatment for stage IV/advanced lung cancer yet.
- You plan to start the targeted drug that matches your specific gene change.
- There is a spot doctors can measure (at least 2 cm) and that area can be safely biopsied, if you’re in the re-biopsy group.
- You can understand the study and agree to sign informed consent.
