- Your diagnosis must not be inclusion body myositis.
- Your diagnosis must not be a muscular dystrophy (genetic muscle-wear conditions).
- Your muscle condition must not be caused by a cancer-related problem.
- Your condition must not be an “overlap myopathy” (mixed immune muscle diseases).
- Your muscle condition must be classified as a type of myopathy that is included in this study (not one of the excluded types).
